Horus Heresy Ultramarines

So this past week I realize I have a ridiculous number of models I plan to use for Heresy-era Ultramarines.  I'll break this down into what I can actually field now in terms of assembled models, and then models I know I have but haven't assembled.  Mostly in terms of full squads or HQs I'm actually working on.

Actually assembled models or units!

  • Legion Praetor in Cataphractii armor with a combi-melta and chainfist.
  • Legion Praetor in Artificer Armor with a paragon blade, plasma pistol, and iron halo.  This uses the Cato Sicarius model.
  • Legion Centurion with Chainsword and Bolt Pistol
  • Legion Centurion kitted out to be a Chaplain.
  • Legion Centurion kitted out to be a Librarian in Cataphractii armor with a force sword and combi-bolter.
  • Legion Tech Marine with plasma pistol and power axe.
  • 2 Contemptor Dreadnoughts, with the option of a Kheres assault cannon or a multi-melta.  Thanks magnets!
  • A Legion Dreadnought, usually armed with a twin-linked lascannon.
  • 10 man Legion Terminator Squad with two heavy flamers and nine powerfists.  All of them are wearing Cataphractii armor.  Sergeant has a power sword and grenade harness.
  • 10 man Legion Veteran Tactical Squad with Legion Vexilla and two Missile Launchers with Suspensor Webs.  Sergeant is armed with a power sword and plasma pistol.
  • 20 man Legion Tactical Squad with Legion Vexilla.  Sergeant is armed with a combi-melta.
  • Another 20 man Legion Tactical Squad with Legion Vexilla.  Again, the Sergeant is armed with a combi-melta.
  • A Legion Rhino.
  • A three man Legion Sky Hunter Squad.  The nose armament is variable as they have magnets, and the sergeant has a power sword.
  • A Legion Predator, though the sponsons need to be finalized.
  • A Legion Vindicator.
  • A Warhound Titan armed with a Titan Inferno Cannon and Warhound Plasma Blast Gun.
  • An Imperial Knight.  The weapons are modular, so it can use one of several configurations.
There's also some basic sergeants to go with the Tactical Squads, giving me the option of fielding them as non-upgraded units.

Unassembled models or units!

  • Legion Centurion kitted out to be a Praevian.
  • A Contemptor Dreadnought
  • 2 Legion Dreadnoughts
  • A 5 man Legion Terminator squad in Cataphractii armor.  Probably going to end up as an assault terminator squad.
  • A 6 man Legion Terminator Squad with combi-bolters and power fists.  Sergeant has a power sword of course.
  • A 20 man Legion Assault Squad.
Of course there are quite a number of models that are in pieces that I haven't really organized into groups, including a second Kurtha Sedd model from Betrayal at Calth and a third Steloc Aetheon model from the same set (the second one was heavily modded to become the Cataphractii Librarian).

Good thing the Ultramarines like massed infantry in the Heresy era.
