I haven't sat down and painted Space Marine Scouts in a very long time. The last ones I painted were for a friend's Raven Guard army about 12 years ago. So it has been an interesting experience applying the techniques I know now to models that I last painted when I was starting this hobby in earnest.
The Space Shark scouts are not as pale as their full-fledged battle brothers, and that's because I wanted to show that the skin gets paler over time. There were a lot of details to do after the wash was applied as well. The skin, the hair, the decorations, that sort of thing. But I think they came out well.
