Warhammer: The Horus Heresy (Second Edition)

 I caved and bought the Age of Darkness boxed set when it came out.  I probably shouldn't have, but that's in the past.  But I have all three of the books out so far; the rules, the Traitor Legions army book, and the Loyalist Legions army book.  Let's dive in.

A Week In Miniatures: June 27th to July 3rd

Hey hey, it's Independence Day for those of us in the United States.  Not to get too political on this blog, but take a moment to think about your elected representatives and whether or not they actually represent you.  At least you have a way to make your voice heard. The original thirteen colonies got taxes passed on them by the British Crown with no legally elected representatives in the British government; the colonists went to war over it.  Just some food for thought as you enjoy your July 4th holiday.

Warhammer Fantasy & Age of Sigmar: Depth and Complexity

So... Extra Credits has a good video on this subject as it relates to video games, and it applies to tabletop games as well!  Having actually played a full game of Age of Sigmar now, I feel that I can now adequately discuss what the primary differences between Age of Sigmar and Warhammer Fantasy are.

Outrage of Sigmar

So Games Workshop hosed down its Warhammer Fantasy deck and replaced it with Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.  And what a spectacular explosion we've seen over that.  Let's talk about it.
