I've been running a Godbound campaign for a few weeks now and I must say I'm enjoying it. Sine Nomine Publishing produces a free version of the rules, though I recommend the deluxe version for its expanded material. While the default setting is cool, I like adding my own twists as usual. I threw in chunks of Exalted and Nobilis with some of the key defaults for Godbound, as well as some ideas of my own. Here's the premise piece and a tiny mechanical change from the default assumptions of Godbound.

Yeah so it's been awhile! Have a deluge of photos of miniatures I've completed since March last year. I also decided to strip all my Space Shark Primaris models clean and repaint them as Ultramarines. Something just kind of vaguely didn't sit right with Carcharodon Primaris.

Feeling Conflicted About 40k Rules Sets
I've been wondering to myself lately about the things I like about Warhammer 40,000 8th edition and what I liked about prior editions. Specifically I'd like to play with my Horus Heresy-era stuff, but I can't seem to bring myself to go back to how 7th Edition WH40k played. I'm not sure if it is because I felt like 7e was work to play, the players I played made it feel onerous, or if I'm genuinely dissatisfied with how it worked.
